As per Pennsylvania Governor Wolf’s announcement on 4/27/2020, private campgrounds can open effective 5/1/20. We are very excited to be able to share our piece of the great outdoors with you again this year. Please contact us if you would like to make a reservation. For those who intend on camping, please review the attached link and follow the guidance provided.
For the safety and concern of all of our guests, and the community, the following measures will be in place until further notice, and are subject to change given the evolving situation:
Clearview Campground is open for RV site (self-contained camping). No tent camping or camper rentals at this time.
We are cancelling all planned activities and campground events.
The Office and Pavilions will be closed.
No congregation of guests in general areas of the campground (field, playground, picnic areas, etc.)
No people grouping at your campsite. All people at your site should be your family or people registered to your site. No hosting of community campfires. The intent is that no other family should be on your campsite or in your trailer during your stay.
Please follow social distancing guidelines. Maintain the recommended minimum 6 feet apart from others.
You are encouraged to wear a mask or garment that covers the nose and mouth anytime you may be in an area where other people are present.
Per the Governor, campers are encouraged to camp close to home. To prevent purchasing groceries or other items in our local community, please try to bring your essential items with you.
The Laundry Facility and Public Rest Rooms will remain closed.
NEW CHECK-IN PROCESS:
All sites must be paid in full prior to arrival:
Upon arrival, go directly to your site to set up and call the Campground Director (814-590-7573) to let us know you arrived.
If you can’t locate your site, drive to the office and call us. We will come out and escort you to your site or provide direction.
“At site check-ins” — After your arrival, we will deliver to your site a receipt if required. Digital receipts are available.
We will wear masks and ask you to have a face covering during our interactions.
We encourage outdoor recreation that does not involve interaction with other families. We also expect that if you are sick or have symptoms of COVID-19, to please stay home and self-quarantine to prevent the spread of the virus.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Stay safe and healthy and we look forward to seeing you soon. Happy Camping!
